why, on the eve of christmas eve, when i have work tomorrow, did i decide to venture out and make fancy paula deen cookies? whoever rated these magnolia lace trumpets as 'easy' on the website is out of their f*cking mind!

I tried to make gingerbread this year and was gagging. They smelled so bad.

i made my mom gingerbread cookies, and i agree they smell horrendous. i threw out all the magnolia lace cookies, they jus twerent turning out right, and i couldnt get them to form 'trumpets' or cones the way they should. mine were all flat on the bottom, i got 8 cookies in and just threw everything out, but now i have an entire batch of the filing in my fridge, its just crisco butter and sugar lol
