NWR, What is the best Flat Iron?

NWR, What is the best Flat Iron?

Okay, so since it's getting so hot and humid lately, I wanted to get a new straightener for my hair, to help avoid the frizz. I ended up buying the CHI Nano Ceramic Flat Iron which cost about $140, it's the one with the Curved edge plate design to curl, straighten and flip. I do like it, but I just don't feel comfortable with the price especially when we trying to save for a wedding.

My question is, can anyone recommend another straightener that isn't as pricey? I'd greatly appreciate it.

TIA

Honestly- I've had the expensive ones from the beauty supply stores..they never seem to last or work as well for me.

I got the Remington Wet to Straight one about a year and a half ago..I love it! I paid $20 for it, but I don't remember where I got it.

I see it at BB&B & Linens and Things for like $29.99.

There are other cheaper irons out there but IMO, the Chi iron you purchased is the best and worth the money. The ceramic plates are healthier for your hair and I switched over to this iron a few months ago and LOVE It! I don't have to go over and over my hair to get it straight which causes less damage. I know it's a bit pricier but well worth the money and your hair will love u for it.

I like it to, but I'm just not use to spending that much money on hair products. I'm just so tossed. I wish I could find one half the price, but I don't know if it will do all the things this one does and I do love how it heats up so fast and you only have to go over your hair once, that's what sold me on it. I just don't know what to do...

i agree!!! you might find something cheaper but nothing will work as well as the Chi. its better for your hair and it has a long product life. mine is going on 4 years old and still working great!

I've heard the CHI is the best.

I have a Hot Tools ceramic one which was probably about $50.00. It works well on my hair, so that's the only reason I don't go for something else.

But the CHI is worth it, don't think about the money, it's a good investment. I'm sure you'll use it a lot.

The only one I know that actually works well is the CHI sorry. IMO its worth the extra money because it actually works. I've had mine for about 5 years and it still works great

The Chi is amazing, I've had mine at least 4years and it works just as good as it did it's first day. It heats up fast and gets the job done quickly! It really is worth the money. BB&B carries it..see if you can get a coupon!
