NWR- What kind of bedding

What kind of bedding are you registered for? I registered for a plain comforter from Macys. So I also registered for a complete bedding set from Style and Co. and part of that set is the duvet (comforter cover).

I did this b/c it's easy to wash the comforter cover rather than the comforter.

I also registered for this bed in a bag from Martha Stewart.

Now this comes with an actual comforter.. not the cover. I would rather have a duvet but for whatever reason, those bedding collections that offer duvets are more money. So I did one pricey one and one cheaper one.

What did everyone else do? My FH noticed that for the Style and Co. set, the actual comforter is only $20 more than the duvet. He thinks its cheaper to just register for Style and Co. comforter (and not the duvet) and forget the plain comforter. He's right but that means we can't wash it in the machine.. I'm confused.

my bedding is actually really expensive, but i only registered for one. Each piece is sold separately so i figure a few people will purchase a few items. If you want to see my registry at bloomingdales let me know. We registered for the duvet, the coverlet, euro shams, reg shams, 2 sets of 600 thread count sheets, and the throw that matches the duvet. Its donna karan.
