WOW... you must take like a 2.3 minute shower. That's awesome. (green with envy, not throwing up... )

Re: NWR: What shampoo/conditioner do you use?
My salon chick said that if you aren't using salon stuff (which is too much money anyway), that Pantene is the next best thing for your hair....

Re: NWR: What shampoo/conditioner do you use?
my hair gets so use to shap/cond that I always have to switch back and forth.
I love Panteen brunette expressions. But sometimes i use herbal essence. or fruticis
I always have a hard time finding ones that are safe with colored hair.

My hairdresser said the best stuff are shampoos u can get at the salon, not necessarily the stuff he sells cus he also sells them...
some examples: - biolage - nexus - matrix
i've always been using pantene but i think those shampoos reallyl do wonders, u don't need a big dollop and it realy makes your hair feel super smooth, esp. if you use the conditioner too.

I had actually heard that Pantene was bad for your hair. My friend's hairdresser said it contains fiberglass or something ridiculous like that, so your hair gets 'addicted' to it. Although I've heard the same thing about chapstick, so who knows!
I rotate between Nexxus Phyto Organics, Logics, Graham Webb and Redken. I only spend $$$ because I have highlights and lowlights, but I usually go to a beauty supply shop so I can at least get some discount.

Pantene's shampoos have some pretty harsh cleansers. I know lots of people can use them with no problem but if your hair is fragile at all I would be careful. You want to avoid any shampoos with lauryls in them (sodium lauryl sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, etc.)..laureth is more gentle and sulfate free is even better!

I really like Aussie shampoo. My hairdresser recommends looking for shampoos and conditioners that do not contain an alcohol as the second or third ingredient because it's not good for your hair.

i've always been a fan of and used:
redken and crew products
but recently i've discovered:
rusk (deep shine) it's like bright green and in a really weird shaped bottle-- long and thin at the top and a big round bottom.
it's great and they sell it at salon's or discount beauty stores.

The one I just started using that I really like is John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette. They also have one for blonds. It makes my hair much softer.

That brand is great. I use the serum before I blowdry straight and it smells sooo good.

Pantene has this awesome restoring mask. I use that at least once a week and it makes my hair so soft.
I must have 3 shampoos and 3 conditioners in my shower at any given moment! I love the Fructis products, Back to Basics, Matrix, Aussie and Pureology. (the pureology conditioner has some kind of mint in it, it really wakes me up in the morning!!!)
