NWR- What to get the Future In Laws for Christmas?
Help! What do you get the people that have everything? Future In-Laws dont really need anything, but obviously FH and I need to get them something. FH is no help- I've made suggestions (gift certificates to dinner, etc), but he didnt like them!
Anyone have any ideas?

I go through this all the time. They have everything and never want anything. The father I always do a bottle of wine, and he loves it. The mother- flowers or a nice plant in a pretty pot (like a peace lily) - can't go wrong with flowers! If they have a restaurant they frequent a g.cert, for there might be good. Good luck!

My in-laws are really into antques- I got them this coffee table like book called 'Passion for Antiques'-- they are major collectors and really have everything, and then some.
We are also giving all our parents an e-pic of us and we got these reallt nice frames from Coach.

FFIL cant make coffee to save his life...he actually made my mom make it when they went over there to meet for the first time. So i'm getting him one of those coffee makers that you just pop the packet in, pour in the water and press the button. Figure he can't mess it up. FMIL was another story...there are words to describe her but I'll just leave them be. The only thing I was able to figure out was that she likes orange scented bath stuff so I went to B&BW and got her a gift basket in Orange&Ginger Aromatherapy. And don't scold FH too badly...mine didn't help me at all either!

We chipped in with FSIL's and FBIL's and bought them Broadway tickets to the Producers and an American Express Gift Check for dinner.

Well originally we were going to give both sets of parents a gift certificate for dinner and theater tickets, but then FIL's TV broke, so FH and are giving them a new TV (got a HUGE deal day after Thanksgiving) and a new TV stand.

We got them some home decor stuff from Crate & Barrel for their vacation house since we'll be spending Xmas there.
