thanks so much girls!!! i just am really broke and the baby is due 2 months after the wedding but anyway... i was looking on babies r us.com and i saw they had like a crib/changing table in one for like 450 and they had a stroler/ car seat for like 200 so im prob going to go with one of those. that way they are getting 2 itmes for the price of one! i wish i had $$$ to buy everything but i just dont!!

I am probably the wrong person to ask because I tend to go over board.

but the car seat /stroller is a great gift and crib/changing table. My suggestion would be to make sure that the person receiving it likes it.

You don't need the crib before the baby comes but you do need the infant car seat to bring the baby home in. There is all sorts of ratings on these products so I would make sure they are comfortable with what you pick.

Thanks!!!

see i too go overboard no matter what.. but i just cant right after the wedding so i will be buying things slowly and putting them away as i go... possible ill buy a bassinett (sp) with the car seat/stroller

If $$ is tight I would advise buying alot of little stuff, rather than one big item. Do you know how much baby clothing/acessories you can buy for $450! You can spend $100 and still have alot of gifts to give...
