nwr: what's the dumbest thiing you've ever brought?

thinking bout kate 0211 post about needing something new..made me think bout shopping which made me think bout some of the utter useless things i've purchased.. so i though i'd share with ya'll.. and see if anyone else buys total nonsense... so come on and share...it can be from an online, television or in store shopping experience..


i'll start..

1. i have a hot dog toaster.. what does it do? absolutely nothing.. why? well first off i don't like hot dogs.. it' looks like a toaster but instead o long holes it has two round holes to fit a hot dog.. and u're spose to stick the hot dog down in there and then it pops up cooked..


2. this was my most recent waste.. luckily it was only a dollar..
scented sink strainers.. yes.. i brought a disposable sink strainer (the little thingy that stops up u'r sink...) that is spose to smell like cinnamon and i got one that is spose to smell lie fresh flowers and citrus.. it made sense in my mind while in the store.. it looked like it would be the perfect addition to my kitchen. it smelled glorious when i took it out the container.. then... it got wet (DUH!!!) and any smells on it washed right down the sink...



what have you guys brought???

FH and I have an infomerical addiction- we feel the need to order everything we see on them- we have the bullet, the electric knife- the gt express- which i still cant figure out how to use

and seriously I should know better- I'm in marketing

Probably not the silliest thing I ever bought, but yesterday i picked up a set of those corn on the cob holders that look like little corn, I just wanted them!!!! i rarely even eat carn on the cob! I just thought they were funny.

LOL....the hot dog toaster sounds awesome...I would have bought it too!

OMG i buy stupid things all the time haha mainly b/c as your standing in the store staring at the item, you think of what a great thing this would be to have! and then you buy it and use it MAYBE once lol

the main thing i buy that usually doesnt get any uses are hair items... i'm always thinking that they are great hair things in the store and then try them once and then never wear them again lol

i love those corn things! now that you reminded me- i will probably register for them lol

a big wooden pink canopy dog bed from the mall. it was so cute I had to have it for my dog. she never once slept in it or even went into it. it was like $130.

she loves her black $30 fluffy dog bed from petco though

good thing about the other bed my cats love it now as it sits in my basement.

OK!! thanks for writing and admitting that!! my brother and fh thought i was a complete FOOL for buying those.. but i was like this is amazing!! i need 2 of these!! lol. total waste of money..
