NWR: When buying a car

if something is not right ex: agreed to a 6 cylinder but found out its a 4 cylinder is there a grace period where you can go back and return the car because its not right.

Re: NWR: When buying a car

Was it in your contract for a 6 cyl? If so, then you have yourself a case.

Re: NWR: When buying a car

this is actually for a friend, when they spoke with the guy he said it would be but when they go through the paper work, it says nothing about the engine.

Re: NWR: When buying a car

Usually depends on the dealership...a week to in some cases 30 days.

Re: NWR: When buying a car

Whatever is on the bill of sale ~ if it says 6- then you'd better drive that car right back!

Re: NWR: When buying a car

if its a lease, you have 30 days to decide whether or not you even like the car and can exchange it if you change your mind. but if its a purchase then i would go back and scream and hollar until something is done about it. it has to mention in the paperwork the kind of engine that's in the car. speak to the supervise if you have to...heck, speak to the owner if you have to! we're not talking about buying a shirt, we're talking about the 2nd largest investment a person can make!

Re: NWR: When buying a car

Cars are put together in models. Like Honda has an Accord in EX, LX..etc..

This can be confusing, but the actual contract will have the details of the engine. They had to sign it and agree to it. If they didn't read it thoroughly enough and signed it and drove it away, then they are probably out of luck.
