NWR: Where and how many times did you take the road test

I'm sorry for all of these NWR'S, but I want to know where you all took your road test and how many times you had to take it before you passed..I'm having trouble with the Starett City site in Brooklyn, I failed twice!

Oh jeeze... I probably have the record for most times taking the road test! And really because I'm horrible at parallel parking, and I would be fighting off anxiety attacks while taking these road tests because I was terrified! No one could understand why I didn't pass because I did fine driving when I practiced...

1st time I failed in Brentwood, then I failed in Freeport, then I failed in Brentwood 3 more times after that! Finally I gave up for a while, this was senior year of high school. After my 2nd year of college I decided to give it a try again but took another driving course to make sure I did it right this time! Then finally, the 6th time, I passed in Freeport!

i took mine in freeport off guy lombardo. passed the first time.

lol thanks, I feel yours too! I didn't think I would ever pass! But don't worry... I'm sure you will pass soon! Don't give up!

I passed on my first try in Riverhead, but I was on the pass/fail border. I was just so nervous though.

i took mine in freeport, and got a perfect test!!! Not one comment or points off 100%

my sister on the other hand passed by the skin of her teeth she got 30 points off but still got a 70 wich is passing

I took it in Freeport too...I got a perfect score too but I think they guy was still half asleep and I didnt kill him so he didnt care. I have always heard that Freeport was one of the easiest sites, but that may just be for Long Island.

i was a huge loser and failed my road test 3 times before i passed... i took it at freeport, brentwood and hicksville & the 4th time i re-took it at hicksville and passed!!!

i swear im a good driver!!

LOL yes that would be a good thing. I'm not sure if the road test really means anything. I passed on the first try and still crashed my car twice and got a speeding ticket. My other friend, who is an excellent driver with a clean driving record, failed 3 times!

Don't feel bad, it took me three tries! I took it twice in Brentwood and once in Binghamton (where I went to college). Third time's a charm.

Passed in Brooklyn on the first try.. I was the first person to go at 9am when I took the test.
I also almost failed.. I was so happy when he told me I passed I turned the car off without putting it in park..lol

I passes on the first time. I took it in Whitestone. Fh's sister just took hers not to long ago in Fresh Meadows. I think it's easier over there, the streets are wider.

The first time I took it is when i took Drivers Ed in HS. We learned to drive in the Upper East Side. Our test was in Yonkers.. and I failed.

3 years later I retook the 5 hour class and took one lesson with a school in Astoria, and I passed.

I took mine in Garden City, I passed the first time. There is always an instructor that will fail you for the smallest thing, They told u why u failed???

I failed the first time in Brooklyn (Red Hook). The second time I toke it in Florida and passed. But I knew someone that took it 9 times. So don't feel bad/. When I failed, I felt like a total loser.
