Moving in with FH in a few days and need to go food shopping - where do you guys shop/what supermarkets have good deals?

DH used to live in Levittown and we found that the best deals we at Pathmark -- but now there aren't any Pathmark stores by us.
So we swap between Stop and Shop and Waldbaums because they are both nearby. We just watch to see what's on sale... they're next door to one another so its not going out of the way.
We use Stop and Shop a lot though because of their milk program.
DH is like a milk drinking machine and every sixth gallon of milk is free at Stop and Shop.

I usually go two places: Target and Stop & Shop (they're right next to each other in Levittown). I get a bunch of canned goods and snacks at Target (and also my frozen meals are alot cheaper there). Stop&Shop I get everything else. I also like S&S because they have boar's head which is what DH likes.
I also found Pathmark usually has alot of good sales. Just look through the circulars and go to the store that has the most stuff on sale that you buy.
I get alot of stuff in bulk @ BJs as well (esp. toilet paper and paper towels, the granola bas DH likes, gatorade, etc).

At one time I use to only go to stop and shop
now i go to Best's it also carries Boar's Head and it is right around the corner from me.... I also go to waldbaums
i miss stop and shop but it is not as convenient for me

I used to go to Stop & Shop, but I hate the one here in Ronkonkoma. So I normally go to Target for staples/pantry items. Then I go to King Kullen for fresh stuff if I am in a rush. When I am not in a rush, I go to Uncle Guiseppe's in Smithtown cause I love their meat dept.

We go to Waldbaums and Stop and Shop. I find Stop and Shop has better prices but the Waldbaums by me is bigger and had a better selection of things.

If I don't want to go to far from home I go to Food Town. Otherwise I prefer Trader Joes (great prices).

For big stock-up runs, usually Stop and Shop. For quick little things, Best Yet because it's right around the block.
