Competition this Saturday and Sunday!!!!! Puh-Lease Pray that everything goes well!! Its a big comp so we'll see how they place. Their dances look good, lots of diffuculty but you never know at these things. The part I hate about competition is waiting for the awards ceremony! Its too nerve wrecking!!!!

COmpetition was great!!!!! My girls did really well!! It was tough but they did awesome,

We got first for Jr. Large Group, and Jr. Solo, My Girl got the ONLY platinum for Jr. SOLO!!!!
We got Third for JR. D/T and 2nd for Mini Small Group, and that was the first competition ever for my minis!! Im so proud of them!

We got Platinums and High Golds for all the dances! The girls killed it! They really held their own it was a hugh competition!!! We were supposed to go to Star Systems March but they told me they were full! SO we are going to one in April Revolution Talent, I think its owned by Star Power. SO we'll see.

Last year I dance in our recital, I did a trio with two other teachers. I may do one again this year, It was fun.

How was the competition Tina? Or is it this weekend? Which one is it?

I want to do something with a lot of tricks but still in a lyrical piece almost a bit modern. I love those two songs, they are pretty emotional.

I would go with Hide and Seek then, you can do some awesome jumps and turns to hit the accents of the song. Im seeing some cool extensions, Fouettes to lay outs, turns in 2nd, battements, things like that.

When is every ones next comp/show?

We are doing Star Systems March 7-9, but I only have 2 solos competing. The comp got full, and those two dancers won scholarships last year to do their solos, so its going to be real low key. Our next big one is in April, Revolution talent, a new competition run by the Star Power. We're doing about 25 numbers at that one. Then Showstopper in May, again real low key because Showstopper is crazy expensive. Its the best though so we don't want to miss it, then Recital in June and Nationals in July.

THe year is flying by!!!!

Next year were only doing regional competitions because of the wedding. Everything is getting moved up!
