nwr: where you get your taxes done?

so me and Fh always wait until the last minute and I have an accountant who Ive used before and hes great but since its so late, I just feel bad and dont want to ask...some years we have used HR block and they are soooo d a m n expensive...like over 200 bucks...can anyone recommend any other company or person who is reputable and really knows what they are doing (cuz mine is a bit complicatged) who would do it at this stage of the game? (obviously companies will up until the last minute, i kno)

if its a private accountant, i would prefer that its their main job because I dont want the problem of them stamping it that I did it myself, in case theres a problem (ive been through this before, if this makes sense)

i just use h and r block its expensive (i pay almost 400) but its relatively quick and painless..

i used h&r last yr and paid 250$. i was annoyed esp since i could do them mysef. im going tonite to a friend cuz hes charging peanuts.

theres a place on hillside that doesnt charge as much as h&r.. maybe 100-120. fm me if u want info. placeis grimmey but ive had my taxes done there for 5 yrs straight.

i know someone who works at H&R block so I now pay $20 bucks instead of the $90 I ususally pay.

i use an accountant in kings park. my parents have used them for years and they are great

My FH is an accountant and does taxes. He would do mine, but my dad is one too and no one is better than my father.

since i don't have deductions i do them myself

Mine's pretty basic too so I did it on turbotax, I'm also an accountant but work mostly on corp taxes or foreign individuals so it's a little different.....

i used to use my parents accountants but after he charged me $175 last year. i switched to FH's accountant. he charged me only $85 but FMIL paid for them so i got off cheap this year. & we went very early so i already have my refunds.

I did them myself by using turbo tax

i do them myself with turbo tax... i got money back so i am excited...hopefully i will not get audited

Heyy that's so funny. I'm trying to get better at individual bc when people hear accountant they automatically think you'll know how to help them. Meanwhile the work I do is so far from it lol, so I'm trying

haha i'm trying to figure out where to get mine too.

My mom and i use the same person and she isn't calling back and of course we wait till the last sec.
I can't even attempt to do mine cuz i have stocks, and lots of write off's and wouldn't know where to begin.
