I do- I have since I started working- I think of it more as a guideline
also I pay a lot of bills online and need a reminder to pay them b/c I don't get paper bills anymore

Budget!!!!
I pay off my credit cards each month. I am always shopping on them so after paying all the bills, the main bill the plastic card I save the rest and spend once again on the card!
This is a horriable plan becuase you don't feel guilty when you buy. That is until you get the bill!

Not so much a budget as a goal plan. I have a goal at the end of each month of how much I want in my savings account - so that means I need to save save save to get there!
I pay my bills the same time every month and am pretty anal about that so it is never a problem.

IMO thats is THE BEST thing you can EVER do...payoff your CCs in cash every month!

Budget?? The only budget I have is for the wedding. Every other Thursday my paycheck is direct deposited, and the very next day a HUGE chunk comes out of that account and goes into the wedding account automatically. On the day he gets paid (or something like that lol) he gives me a chunk to put into the wedding account. Whatever we each have in our respective accounts pays our respective bills, and whatever we have left over (that isn't in the wedding account which is joint) is for each of us to spend as we see fit.

I do make a budget - and go over it at least 2 times a week Im always checking my bank stuff on line and I stick to it! tripple check my spreedsheet.....if you havent figured it out yet Im a FREAK about this kind of stuff -
We have 3 different savings accounts - and i also keep labled envolpes in the safe with money and I even set up my wallet like that - fold a 20 put it on place that for gas - fold a 20 put it in another part of my wallet for my nails .....I know if crazy but it works for me

first i see how much my check is, it varies, not much, but some. then i see what i have to pay and how much i can put in savings.
this does not always work, but i always pay bills first....

Yeah but I should just completely get rid of the card!! It's so easy to buy things that are not necessary with the card.

I get paid every week, so I automatically put $ into a savings account that I cannot access via ATM. I have done it for so long and I never miss it.
