Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

i'm not a teacher, but i am taking advantage of that benefit...my office just e-mailed everyone that office closings will depend on nyc public schools...guess who else is off tomorrow

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

I am going to become a librarian and libraries usually close when the snow is bad. I have been working as an Young Adult Page Supervisor at Patchogue Medford Library for a few years and had a few snow days!

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

NYC Public schools are actually closing?

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

Yes, can you believe it?!?!?!

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

sometimes i wish i was a teacher-snow days and summer vacations, but it's a hard job too!

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

St. John's, as of right now, is still open....and I have a 7am class

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

Yes being a teacher has some benefits.. but we do have to make up the snow days in the spring when it is nice out... and dealing with 150 obnoxious 6th graders every day isn't what its all cracked up to be

Re: NWR- Who else wished they had become teachers?

i'm a recent grad to be a teacher!!! since i am unemployed, everyday is a snow day right now!!!I NEED A JOB!!! And yes, NYC schools are closed-how rare!!!!
