I vote for everything!! I figure you can't complain about anything unless you vote...if you don't vote, you're not doing anything to fix the problems in the first place...

Re: NWR: Who Votes???
I registered when I moved through DMV and FH has made me vote for everything in our town so far. Since there hasn't been a major election yet, I've voted for the library budget and for new soccer fields.
FH is a voting freak. It's funny, we aren't even homeowners yet and he researches the effect on taxes each thing has.

Re: NWR: Who Votes???
i vote but only in major elections...i moved to LI from Queens so I still don't know much about the town so I thought it was unfair for me to vote in something I had no clue about and really had no time to research

Re: NWR: Who Votes???
I voted in every election since I was 18 - I usually obstain from school budgets b/c I was never a homeowner and lived with my parents, wasn't made aware of what effects yes/no would mean (This is all upstate where my family is from), now that I live down here and see everything that happens, I vote more often.

Ditto. I was also pretty invovled with the local government before getting married.
