NWR- Who watched ER tonight?

I am so sad that Carter is gone! I loved his character... and the fact that he reminisced about all of the past characters made me sad. I still love this show after 11 years. it is the only one I still watch religiously!

I still watch it religiously myself...that's one of my favorite shows (along with Third Watch which was canned ) I am so sad that Carter is gone....doesn't seem real to me yet. He's been such an asset to the show! His character was great. Hopefully they add someone just as good!

I watched but I was very dissapointed with how he said goodbye. I felt something more should have been done.
I honestly don't think it's going to last any longer.

I watched it too....for some reason I thought there would have been a better good bye bet. Carter and Abby, but it was fine. This is actually the first one I was able to catch in a while, but I always love it.

as long as Mekhi is on the show, it will have my attention LOVE HIM!

I was a little disappointed that more wasn't done too, but it kind of fit into the way the show goes normally. I liked how they included pics of the original cast and had him hearing their voices at the end.. It's interesting to see how the tone of the show changes each time the cast changes.. It's still one of my favorite shows, so I will continue to watch as long as it's on the air! I love a good medical show... ER, Grey's Anatomy, Medical Investigation( before it was cancelled!) and now Ilove House! I need to get a life!

I am interested to see who will carry the show now. I guess they are hoping that Darlene from Roseanne (can't remember her name now except that her last is Gilbert) will help. I always did love Carter.

It does stink, Carter has always been a constant on the show. But there have been other characters who havereally been there a long time now too, like Susan (who actually was there for the beginning but left for a few years), Abby, and Kovac. I also really like Pratt and the newer people like Ray and Neela. ER seems to be the one show that is able to work even as the characters change. I guess they have really good writers.

I love ER I can't beleive its over for the summer. I can't believe carter left I thought they would of had a better good bye with h im and the cast especially him and abby. I thoguht it was nice to see the pics of the old crew and the way he heard the voices. I hope he comes back but I doubt it. can't wait for the show to start up again.

I watched it! It was sooo sad! I don't want him to go!!! Now everyone from the original cast is gone, except Dr. Lewis but she doesn't count bc she left for awhile. It was so nice to see/hear Dr. Green again! I cried when he died!! And all the rest of them too, I miss those guys!! I thought it was really cool that they had that girl on the show that he 'delivered' his 1st year! That was really creative and cute of them to do! I talk like they're real people!!!

You talk like I talk about them! I love this show... Dr. Weaver has also been there since the 3rd season, so she's next in rank! I loved hearing the voices.. I too cried like a baby when Dr. Green passed away...

And why did they have Sam's son Alex run away! They leave the ending with him getting picked up by some guy in a pickup truck?! I wasn't happy about that! Nice way to open a season..

yeah...that was VERY disturbing...in real life, they wouldn't find him alive, sad to say....only certain types of men pick up young boys....

I wonder if Danny Glover will have a recurring role as Pratt's father....have to wait and see.

ER seems to be like the original Law & Order...they make it about the stories and not so much about the cast...

I also have a huge crush of Kovac.... but Pratt gets a double

Thanks Lauren! I got so nervous when I saw Alex get in the car with that man... I thought to myself, 'he's gonna get killed off.' Well, the writers certainly came up with some good cliff hangers!
