I went to a taping of her new show this morning in the city!!! It was so much fun!! I was never part of a studio audience before.... it was really interesting to see all that goes on behind the scenes of a talk show.... all that clapping and smiling they had us do let me tell you wore me out lol! The set was awesome and our seats rotated so we could see every part of the stage... She seems really cool and I love her recipes... It was only the second show they ever taped and they didn't tell us the air date... so much fun I want to go again & can't wait to see if I got on TV lol!!!!!

I like her a lot, although she can get on my nerves sometimes. But her recipes are great! I have 2 of her cookbooks and everything I've made has been fantastic. FH can't stand her! But he never complains when I make her recipes. Go figure! Btw....her magazine is great too!

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority here...
I can't stand her with her abbreviations and snorty little laugh...Plus, I have no idea how someone could get so fired up about parsley without being medicated...I swear, the woman is on drugs.
I also HATE her show $40 a day...She is so cheap! She literally tips people 5%...And yeah, I could eat for $40 a day if I went into a restaurant and ordered a side salad and a tap water for lunch!!
I did read an article about her in Good Housekeeping, and she seems like she means well, but for some reason her voice just makes my skin crawl.

i really love her!! she makes the best stuff. . . i have used a bunch of her recipes. . .
i really admire her enthusiasm - wish i had that much energy!
but i think my real food network favorites are alton brown and giada. . .
i didnt even know she has a new show coming out - but i want to subscribe to her magazine. . . gotta start getting domestic!

Me and you feel opposite. But my FH is always like what the heck is wrong with her and he thinks her laugh is so annying. I kick him out because I tell him he's ruining my show.

My FMIL got the tickets, she said she went to the Rachael Ray website and she just applied... you can get 4 tickets at a time & they tape on Tues, Wed, and Thurs, once at 11 am and then again at 2 pm. Good excuse to take a day off from work!
When I was there she made 'chicks in a blanket' which is kinda like pigs in a blanket but it's with chicken sausage instead... looked really tasty.
There's also a part of the show called 'stump the rach' where there are weird looking gadgets and she has to guess what they're used for... one was this tiny little rubber tent thing called a 'pee-pee teepee' used when changing a baby boy's diaper so he doesn't spray on you..... so FMIL turns to me and goes 'I wish I had that when tommy (my FH) was a baby cause he sprayed on me all the time' I had no response for that!!!
