NWR: Who's cooking tonight?...

and what are you making?

Just found out that my DH won't be home until almost 9 and it's so disgusting out that there's no way I'm going out in this for dinner. Time to take out the pots and pans!!! Any suggestions?

i am making filet minon, roasted potatoes, green beans and a salad. plus i just made fresh banana bread. will probably have chocolate martinis as an after dinner snack.

I was supposed to be out of town on business but the trip got cancelled due to the weather so FH went out and is making a few appetizers and seafood fra diavalo for dinner. Good thing he likes to cook!!!

we cooked last year... and had the most decadent meal ever...

baked brie with raspberry preserves, chocolate fondue, and a bottle of wine....

we got engaged over the brie

I decided to make chicken and broccoli w/ rice and mac and cheese (I know- completely elegant, right!!!???) My mom has a yummy recipe for chicken and broccoli that is SO GOOD!!!

And for dessert, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate chip cookies!
