Maybe it's because I am pretty close to 30...but I totally don't see the big deal. I feel like people use 30 as a huge milestone and if you aren't married, having kids, have a house by then you are doing something wrong....

I'm 24 and I look like I'm 16.
So maybe when I'm 30 I'll look like I'm 24?
I got a friend I work with who's 30 and still looks 16 so you might be onto somthing there

but lemme tell u... the day i turned 25, it all went downhill for me. the aches and pains ive been getting. forget it.
My life went downhill when I turned 20 lol

I don't think so much about turning 30, and I've got 2 1/2 months to go. I know I look younger and I'm holding up pretty darn well so far (knock on wood). I'm very established in my career. I just don't have a house, a kid, or a husband. But those will all come soon enough! I'm very happy with the choices I made, so the 'Dirty Thirty' is just another number!

Honestly, you may be older to run around but you will have a HELLUVA lot more patience. If I had my Step kids at 30, I'd leave FH, trust me. I have so much more patience now...

I had a quarter life crisis when I turned 25 this past year. But, the majority of my friends are in their 30s. And one of my friends who is 35 says all the time that she is enjoying her thirties so much more than her twenties. Age is just a number. It's just remembering that fact that is the hard part!

I was always one of those people who didn´t think much about turning 30 or any other age for that matter. But now it kinda bothers me a little.
I don´t feel old or anything. Hopefully I look younger. and I´m happy with my life. But every now and then when I hear the number said I get a little weird feeling inside. LIke my life is going by too quickly. Like I´m old. Its fleeting and only happens sometimes but it surprises me.
Then I think of people like my grandmother. She is over 70 (don´t know her exact age because according to her she is in her 20s!!) and she has a boyfirend and goes out dancing regularly and is always getting mani pedis and having her hair done at the salon. She is all about girl talk and gossip with her friends (you would totally think it was a teenager talking if you hear what she says on the phone). She´s 'younger' than me and she´s over 70!!
I think keeping a positive outlook is important. Your attitude keeps you young!! When my grandmother turned 61 she flipped the numbers and threw herself a sweet 16!! Not at a place or anything, she did it in her house. But she did buy the invites, plates, decorations - the whole thing!! That´s how I wanna be!!

I love being in my 30s, I wouldn't go back to my twenties for anything. I feel so much more confidant and sure of myself. I feel like in your twenties you focus on things that are so not important and in your 30s you realize what it.

Because for me all of those things you listed bothered me. I forget I am 30 but I definitely would rather be 25 again.

I don't mind my birthday yet. I just turned 25 this year & I still look like I am maybe 20.
FH on the other hand, is freaking out that he is turning 27 in November. I have to regularly remind him that when my brother was 27 he already was married for 3 years, already had 2 kids & was already going bold. FH also has a bunch of friends who are older then him, (28-32) & they don't even have serious relationships. so I think he is fine.
I also think that getting older for men is different then for women. My mom says that she woke up one day & she just looked old. Hopefully that doesn't happen to me.

FH cried when he turned 29 because he found a gray hair and I freaked out in Dec 2003 about my 25th birthday in Feb 2004 because I was going into the next checkbox.

I'll be 30 next year... Married and 30.in 2010..how cliche..
Seriuosly though, I feel like I am still 22...well, with the exception that my body physically cannot handle partying like a rock star as it used to
It now takes me two to three days to recover after dancing & drinking all night at a wedding!!!!!! It's just strange to see how quickly the twenties flew by me!!!

I turn 30 next March. I am declaring it my birthday weekend... a pool party at the Huntington Hilton ( I never had a pool party as a kid - March *****) and dinner at Ninja New York... you are all invited.
I turn 30 in may...Disney is already booked!!

I dont know how i will feel when i turn 30... i know FH is gonna freak in january when he turns 30...
its not that i think my uterus will dry up! LOL, but I wanna have kids right away... pop em out one after another for a few years then stop... I dont want to be an old person with a young kid... i dont want to be retiring when i have a teenager...
