NWR: Why are people so freaked out about being 30??
Maybe it's because I am pretty close to 30...but I totally don't see the big deal. I feel like people use 30 as a huge milestone and if you aren't married, having kids, have a house by then you are doing something wrong....

I totally agree. My friends are always complaining how they don't have kids and they are about to be 30. Lol 30 is the new 20

I don't really understand either, to me it really doesn't matterm. I think also because I'm close to 30 and I have some over 30 friends that are no where near caring about those things

I'll be 30 in may. . . . I don't think that I have to have babies right away, in fact I don't want to - I just don't want to say I'm 30!
Even thought everyone tells me that I look like I am 22

I am going to be 30 in a year. I am looking fwd to it! gonna throw one big partay! lol I live by my own schedule so I also dont see the need to have everything before. just a #

well for the average person 30 is nothhing
but lemme tell u... the day i turned 25, it all went downhill for me. the aches and pains ive been getting. forget it.

Hey, when I turned 30 my uterus DID shrivel up and fall out... how DARE you make fun of me!
I didn't freak out when I turned 30.... but I did when I turned 25. Haha.
It helps that I still look like I'm in my 20s. I get carded all the time.

i'm 30 and i don't see the big deal. no one believes i'm 30, which is a good thing. i went to buy a lottery ticket a few weeks ago and the guy asked for ID. he looked at it and said '1979, wow'

And it just gets worse at 30
I turn 30 next March. I am declaring it my birthday weekend... a pool party at the Huntington Hilton ( I never had a pool party as a kid - March *****) and dinner at Ninja New York... you are all invited.

when I was 25 I was tired...at 30, it's like I felt 20 again and was going out more btwn 30-34 than in my 20's. I crashed at 38 lol
30's were the best years of my life..cherish them!

I think that being pregnant after 35 is a little bit more risky than the younger crowd and the older you get the harder it is to get pregnant. Although I know this isn't true for all folks b/c its plenty of happy healthy 35 plus pregnancies that I know of. I think its just something some women worry about...
