nwr... work!

Ok Girls

I work for Staples in East Islip and I am the copy and print center manager ( i can't get a job teaching) anyway every week i have a budget that I have to hit with sales like this week was $10,500.. now we have not hit sales since December and i could not fiqure out why, i mean we were doing business but stuff was not adding up..... soooo the loss prevention guy has been in our store time and time again lately asking ???? I had no idea why totally clueless until this morning when they told me that one of my Associates was doing returns at night on copies totaling over $4000 over the past 4 months... He is doing returns and putting the money on a gift card and using it else where.... grrrrrrrrrrrr it made me feel better to know where the money has been this whole time, but now i have to go back to work and have this kid arrested. I mean he is 21 and just got married last year.... am i wrong for not feeling bad? I mean alot goes into what he did... my department has no hours for anyone so I am working 45 hours plus a week to cover bc of being salry.... soory so long but i feel like i have been taken advantage of bc i trusted him to be in there by himself.. i can only imagine what else he has done.. ill be back later i have to go back to work to take care of this

WOW!! That's horrible, I can't believe it!!!!!!

No, I don't think it's wrong of you to not feel bad. I mean, he knew what he was doing and he got caught. It's not like he's a lil kid or something, he's a grown adult and has to pay the consequences for his actions.

I don't think you should feel bad! He has been stealing!

That is stealing and you shouldn't feel bad. He got himself into a mess.

This will be on his record permanently.

If he planed it out he should pay for his mistakes. That is so crazy!

It takes a very bright and manipulative person to be able to do this but apparently he was not bright enough. All too often, people do not take responsibility for their actions and those hard working people like you often get screwed in the end. Do what you need to do. I think you will do the right thing and do NOT feel one ounce of guilt!

WOW, how do people even come up with these ideas? This is why I could never be a criminal, I don't think my mind works that way.
