I just spoke to a close friend of the family (she has been like another mother since my mom passed away) and she was telling me that my sister has been going to the doctor every other week is now on some medication to help her to lower her sugar and has found a lump (this worries me especially since both of my parents died as a result of cancer) that she has to have checked out again in 6 months. I am upset at the fact that my sister never told me any of this. She has only told me that she has to watch her cholesterol. Would you be upset or am I just over reacting? Thanks so much for listening to me vent.

Re: NWR- Would you be upset
I would be upset as well but maybe she didn't want to worry you in case it is nothing. Knowing that cancer runs in the family she probably thought that your frust reaction would be that it is cancer. I would talk to her and take one day at a time...even though you are upset it is best to deal with the issue frist then tell her that you felt hurt without knowing from her. I hope everything works out.

I would be upset too. Maybe it's nothing big or your sister doesn't know yet if it's anything & she doesn't want to worry you? I'll say a prayer that everything is okay

Sorry to crash your boards but she probably figures that you have enough to worry about with the wedding that she doesnt want to tell you and add to the list. Maybe you should just mention to her that you heard what was going on and you want her to know that you're there for her.
Im sure whatever her reasoning is, she means well and I dont think she would have intentions of you feeling this way. Hope everything works out!

I would be upset also but I am sure she did not mention it because she does not want to rain on your parade or worry you in case (HOPEFULLY) it is nothing. I'll keep you and esp. your sister in my prayers!
