FH and I bought our house in Dyker Heights. His parents live in Bensonhurst. Dyker Heights, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst and Park Slope are all nice neighborhoods. It all depends on what type of atmosphere you are looking for.

Bay Ridge is really nice..so is Marine Park...Williamsburg is very hipster if you like that scene. Parts can be sketchy.
