I know this may be a private topic, feel free to skip. I also hope there isn't a thread for this already.
Did anyone get a holiday bonus this year? Many of my friends didn't and aren't - due to hard times. We actually did well this year and I was told I'd get a lot more than I did, but heck, I'll take an extra thousand.

Re: NWR: Xmas Bonus? Get one?
We usually get an Xmas bonus but the owner of the company decided to give out the bonuses 2 months ago when the market was up and down (still is!) so I don't think he's giving us Xmas bonuses...either way I am grateful for free money!!

Re: NWR: Xmas Bonus? Get one?
i usually did get a nice bonus at my old job, and they were pretty generous. I doubt i will this year though now that i'm working someplace else. It's just a temporary job since I'm moving in a couple weeks. And the people I work for never even pay me for the extra hours they're always asking me to come in for, so I doubt they'll be so generous as to offer a bonus. lol. That's okay though. Times are rough, so I'm sure they just can't afford it.
Maybe FH will get something though. I'll have to ask him

Teachers do not get bonuses. I guess our bonus is getting paid holidays and vacations.

Bonus...what's that?
Ironically enough i've never worked anywhere that's given a bonus of any kind.
Enjoy yours!

Re: NWR: Xmas Bonus? Get one?
both of us never get one and its not a biggie. Many of my friends have been told that they are not getting on this year so don't spend it.
