NWR- Xmas Gift Advice Needed

I went to Macys in the city during lunch today and got this jacket for FH.

Now at home, I realize a slight slight defect. On the left arm, there is a pocket for a cell phone. The metal snap button on that pocket broke. So it's impossible to snap the flap of the pocket so it's completely shut. Bringing it back would involve lugging it and lugging it back. I don't anticipate him ever using such a small pocket especially on his left arm. I can bring it back and get a new jacket (and after all this it may not be his size), have the metal snap button replaced by a seamstress or sew it shut so that it's permanently closed. What would you do? I hate giving a gift that has any imperfections but I sooo don't want to lug it back.

Maybe a Macy's closer to your house has it and you can exchange it there. Maybe they can even order it from another store. I probably wouldn't keep it if there was a defect---unless you don't think it would matter to him.

You could pretend you didn't notice. If he notices and it bothers him then you can suggest tailoring it.
