NWR Yaz BC users

Does anyone take Yaz for BC? And if so how is it? I know it's different for everyone, but I was thinking of starting it and just wanted feedback.

No mood swings or weight gain? I've gained almost 10 lbs of water weight with 3 diff pills

Im on it and love it, NO mood swings or weight gain and i barely get my period.

I used to take YAZMIN....LOVED IT!! No cramps, mood swings, nothing!! My doc actually gave me the wrong samples..I have 2 months of YAZ here if anyone wants it!! FM me

i took yaz and LOVED it! I get PMS soooo bad and when i was on it i had no symptoms...fh loved it!

i'm currently on Yaz and have absolutely no complaints. shorter, less painful periods, it does wonders for my skin, and i feel sooo much less PMS-y. hope this helps!

I am also using it and I really like it. Let your body adjust though for like 3-6 month, before making any judgements. I used to be very moody and not anymore...

My sister said the only reason you dont gain on Yaz is because it has a dieretic in it.

Hey Jen! I am on it and I LOVE IT! I have been on it for almost 7 years and I actually lost weight when I started taking it and my skin cleared up!!! I get bloated during that time of the month but thats about it! I love it! It's a great product! Good luck. HTH

My doc told me that Yaz is the new Yazmin, I switched from one to the other . . . .

I previously on Yasmin and have been on YAZ for about 2 years now. I love it! no cramps or mood swings. trust me I think I have been on every type of BC known to man and I liked YAZ the best.

I used to be on Loestrin before Yaz and had horrible mood swings and overall moodiness throughout the month. I went to the gyno and she switched me over and I've felt its helped. Everyone is different, but I heard that because the way Yaz is formulated has something to do with it being a more compatible BC pill for many women.

i was very conflicted while i was on yaz...1st of all my insurance didnt cover it and it was like $60 per month (which i know is a small price to pay compared to the alternative--diapers aint cheap) but i only had my period for 25 minutes..i swear to god, which i liked and didnt like. i kinda like to get my period, it just lets me know that i made it another month without, you know. and i never get cramps so it doesnt bother me

but the short periods were nice

I'm on Yaz now as well. I was on a really high hormone pill before because I have horrible symptoms. It's ok for me not great. It's been 8 months and I think when my script runs out i might switch back. my periods are still not regular on it....i get it like the week after the sugar pills are done which is so weird. I guess it's different for everyone.

i was on Yazmin and i had some problems from that..i started getting a lot of pain where my heart is..everytime i breath i would have a little pain..especially when i would go to sleep so..i went to the doc and they checked everything and they told me to take YAZ instead of yazmin...i did for couple weeks it didnt stop....i went to alternative doc and he told me to get off right away...i did and now i feel great!!!!!!!!!!!!

its not for everyone, my fd is on YAZ and she has no prob!
Try it see how it is!
