NWR: Yo Barb! I found a place that makes vegetarian gyros!
For real! It's some hole-in-the-wall place called Lucille's in Jamaica. Seems to cater to the Hindu crowd, so they make a lot of things veggie-friendly. I'm so ecstatic!!! When I went veg, gyros was one thing I missed a lot.
If soy gyros are wrong, I don't wanna be right!!!

I'll ask FH later. I'm so bad with cross-streets sometimes. I think it's on Hillside between Queens Blvd. & Sutphin Blvd., across from R&S Strauss. But I could be wrong about the streets!
I wish it was closer to my house. Delivery!

Are you a vegetarian? Because if you're not...you should stick to the regular ones. Take it from a longtime vegetarian - the soy was a decent substitute, but nothing beats the real deal.

yeah kris. i eat fish. but ive never seen a fish gyro

Yeah Vegetarians!!! I don't live out there...but I know how hard it is to find a place with vegetarian food at all...never mind good veggie food!!!
Any places on Long Island that anyone would recommend...I always have a hard time going out to eat because I feel like I always wind up getting the same thing!!!
