my mom just called me at work i got a letter for jury duty omg i hate that but then i will not have to do it for 7 years, OMg what if i had to go in on my wedding day its a friday im so glad now !!!!

At least you havent had it in a while....Its not like you had it a few motnsh ago and then got called in for grand jury...

It's 8 years now. I had to go last month and got stuck there Mon-Thursday and then they told me I had to come back the following Monday because the witnesses weren't available the Friday. It was sooooo boring.

Hopefully you only have to stay one day. FH had jury duty the day after me and he got to leave after one day.

i hope that does not happen my sister got stuck there for 2 days but a co-worker of mine got stuck there for 2 weeks

I had gotten stuck there for a week on some stupid boring case...worse, i was an alternate so I got stuck in a tiny room with some creepy old man trying to feed me muffins...

im kinda nervous haha-ive never been called..how old was everyone when they were 1st called? fsil was already called, and shes a year younger than i am..

I think I was 19 when I got called in...either 19 or 20, cant remember...

ugh jury duty stinks...i got picked for a case a few months ago and had to sit on the jury for 2 weeks...i hated it but at least i got out of work

I want to be called for jury duty soooo bad!!!! LoL!
When I got the notice, it was for literally the day of my college graduation! I was so upset, and I had to postpone. When I got the new dates, I had too high of a number.
