I am heading out this morning... on my DAY OFF to go get my bloodwork done....... for my physical... I hate it sooo much... I work myself up into a FRENZIE.... and am always afraid im going to pass out!!! AHHH!

I used to hate it SO much but I go every three months to check the Thyroid. I got used to it I guess. Do they use butterfly needles where you go? That's what I reguest and it's less painful! You'll be alright!

once I did pass out...it was horrible!! i was like getting normal amt. of blood taken and she was done,so she was like oh do you need to rest, i was like no!!! then i got up to pay my copay and i felt like i was going to throw up, so i said excuse me and the last thing i remember was turning around to get to the bathroom! then the next thing i heard was 'get the smelling salts!!' i had a cut, which turned into a small scar, under my eye, and FH needed to come and get me.
otherwise, i looooove getting bloodwork taken (note the sarcasm)

they did it to me twice this week...and i absolutly hate getting it done..first time stupid girl could not find the vein...and now my arm all black and in pain!!!!!!!

i HATE it!!!! i use to draw blood... and i never minded doing it to others but i freak when i need to get it done.

i HATE it sooooo much...my veins r very low and its always a pia to get taken...they always poke me a million times and then i come to the point where im about to pass out so they have to stop....im cringing just thinking about it lol...good luck today!!..im sure it will go great

I'm back!! I didn't pass out YAAAY!!! LOL LOL.. the lady was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! she talked me through it... i will go back there EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had someone had to try to take it about 4 different times once.. and I had the bruises all over too.. I HATE THAT!!!!!!.... but if anyone lives in the centereach-selden area...go to SUNRISE LAB on middle country rd in selden.. she was GREAT: -) hehehe

i am terrified of needles so believe me, when its time to get bloodwork done, i work myself into a panic. its terrible. so dont worry youre not alone!

noone realy likes it but i dont mind it. When i was little i used to ask if i could watch the tubes fill up . i dont love it that much anymore but its still not bad. Make sure you eat before you go and you will be fine. good luck
