NWR:Baptism Gift

Tomorrow is my nephew's baptism and I'm the godmother (DH is not the godfather) How much should we give? We purchased him a frame already.

I am nuts with my nephew (he is also the first one) so I would probably give $500 and purchase him a piece of jewlelery (that may only be greek tradition though).

FH is the godfather of his nephew, he gave him $250.

im greek. so if im the godmother.. i would have to spend 1000+ (candles, baptismal outfit, cross, favors ) id still give 500$ as a gift as welll

For my godson, I bought the outfit and a cross for his room. DH's goddaughter we bought her her dress and her gold cross to wear. And the $100 check.

for my new godson (DH is not godfather and its my friends baby), i got:

baby gold cross
baby's first bible
christening outfit
personalized frame

for my goddaughter (sister's child)
i did similar, plus i think i also got savings bond
