NWR..Bronx zoo!!

Hey guys I was just wondering has anyone been to the bronx zoo lately?

FH and I are going to go this week or next week. How long does it usually take to see everything? I just want to figure uout how much time we need!

Awwww...I used to go to the Bronx Zoo every summer with a big group of friends! I miss living in New York.

We went this time a few years ago and it was a whole day thing. There weren't a lot of animals out when we went though - I was kind of disappointed

i have been there a few times and LOVED it but it was when I was younger... FH isnt to thrilled about going but oh well haha

Just plan to spend the whole day. There is so much to see and if you love gorillas.....you are not going to want to leave that exhibit!!!! I can' t say enough about it......THEY ARE AMAZING!!!
I just said to my husband that I want to go back soon....Enjoy!!

hi jessie!!! nick and i went a few years ago and we LOOOOOOVED IT!!! it was a full day thing! we saw everything and we went this time of year that way the heat and poop smell werent so bad!! your going to love it!

and less of a ppoop smell is good

It will depend on the weather. It also depends on the animals. Think about how you would feel if hundreds of people walked past you and pointed at you all day everyday. And if it's too hot they want to find the shade just as bad as people do.
(Sorry I work woth animals and have learned that they do whatever they want when they want, they can be very unpredictable).

It was a day like today so it was a little warm. That definitely could be the reason why we didn't see as much.

I hope you see a lot of animals and have a great time!

It will probably take you the whole day. There are lots of exhibits and animals that you have to pay extra to see. FH & I went last yr around this time. We had a great time!
Hope you have fun tomorrow. The waether will be nice too!

I just went there on the 19th of august. It was alot of fun. Most of the animals were out. But definitely get there when it opens, there is soo much so see and its alot of walking. They had two admission prices, one was just for the zoo and the other included all of the pay exhibits and rides. I LOOVED the butterfly exhibit. Any other questions just let me know.
