Has anyone ever heard about the seller paying the closing costs and if so has anyone ever been successful with this????
It can happen but I wouldn't count on it. Usually there are only two reasons this would happen...they want a quick sale or they are making a lot off of the sale, which is unlikely in this market. Good luck!
agreed. If they're desperate they may..but it's really rare.
We were able to have the sellers put some $ towards closing. It was an estate sale and the property was on the market for a while. For most cases, you can ask, and worst case, the answer is no., but hey you never know!
