I took a package of meat out of the freezer this morning it was brown by the time it defrosted is it still good?

ETA: it was a little pink still and the middle was still frozen and its not old at all I just bought it 2 weeks ago and put it in the freezer

does the package have a date that it should be used by? If is doesn't look good, don't eat it, but if it looks ok, and is within the date of about a month, I would eat it.

Make sure you smell it first. If it smells even a little sour, trash it. As long as it smelld ok you should be fine
