Does anyone see the irony behind it all? That he spent like 5 million or whatever crazy amt it was to air this 30 min special on like 7 networks... Where is he getting this money from? And he does like to spend alot of it doesnt he? Is that any indication of what kinda hole he's gonna put us in in the future???
I honestly dont care for either choice, and when that happens, I just dont vote.
Hes getting it from donations from his supporters, which he SWORE up and down that he wouldn't do...and he did anyway!
ETA: 5 Mil for tonight but grand total is 600 million dollars. thats DOUBLE what Bush and Kerry spent COMBINED in 2004.

I believe read in the paper the Bush & Kerry campaign cost was 884m for 2004 Before this election it was the highest cost. Between the state of the economy and the fact that race has been a factor for some voters decision. I can easily see that this election will easily reach the 1 billion mark by next week.

Seems like a great way to spend $600 million dollars...
Why didn't he use his OWN money for a bailout?
I think its confirmed...I hate all politicians!
Hey better than spending it on his wardrobe I think and if he should have spent his own money on the bailout then McCain should have sold one of his 7 houses to put his own money in too.
You forgot to mention that your man Obama has a 12 million dollar home....
Face it- they all have the big bucks. And they all shell out the money on themselves and their campaigns despite what party they are from- they are all the same sh*t when it comes down to the expenses.

Re: NWR:Did anyone watch
i caught the last 10 minutes. i wish i had seen the whole thing. i love him i don't think i've ever seen a politician this exciting.
FYI--i just learned less than a week ago that obama has this unprecedented status of being the first political candidate to get half of his donations in amounts smaller than $200, which means they came from regular people like you and me through his website. when he was breaking fundraising records earlier in the election, i was sceptical, asking the question, 'who did he w h o r e himself out to?' now i know the answer is the people!
however, i just watched a documentary last night on HBO on demand about how the voting machine company is paid off by the republican national committee, and a computer hack sealed both elections for that moron GW. i don't necessarily believe that the candidate chosen by the people will necessarily be the one to get into office if mccain steals this election like his republican predecessors have, i hope they burn down all seven of his houses in an angry riot.
