the kid that died from connetquot??? SO SAD it was my cousins friend.....he was supposed to be in the car w/ them but for some reason decided to stay back. There were 2 guys in the car both died. they were struck by someone who didn't even have a license. My cousin is beside himself....wont even talk to anyone, it took him a week to go back to school. It was a godsent that he decided to stay back and have my aunt pick him up

I did hear about it. my brother is in Connetquot and I graduated from there... he actually saw the accident right after it happened. He was friends with both of them. Didn't realize it was them at the time though b/c the car was so mangled. He texted me at 3AM when he found out who it was. He went to the wake for the first one (Franjola) and said there was a 2 hour wait to get into the funeral home. the line was wrapped around the bilding and he didn't get in until 10:30! and then he texted me sunday night saying that Stephen Massina had died that night.
My brother doesn't deal well with greif, adn he just kind of shuts down, so it is hard to talk to him about it, but he is crushed.
I feel so bad for the families! It is such a horrible thing. and to go to my parents house I pass the scene of the accident, and there are 2 huge signs erected there with all flowers, stuffed animals etc. I get upset every time I pass it. It is so horrible!

and for my brother it was the 4th friend he had die in the last 6 or 7 months. there was a car accident on Ocean Ave and Peconic street in Ronkonkoma, and he knew the kid that got hit by the car on Route 347. A person his age should not have to go to this many wakes for friends!!!!!

I am sorry, I went off on a tangent there (I am really upset about it)... that is really saying something that your cousin didn't go in the car that night. someone was definitely watching over him that night!

wow, 4 friends....i can only imagine how ur brother feels, my cousin wouldn't even go to teh wake or funeral....he didn't leave the house for like a week

My MOH actually works around the corner from there. The girl was on her way to a court date and was driving her bosses car b.c he was driving to slow. MOH said the girl was driving at least 80-90 miles an hour and stormed through a BRICK house.... i dont get how some ppl get their licences....
