I am surprising my FH with a Sony 55 inch tv. Along with that I have to get a home theatre system. I know the Bose system is good. But, do you ladies have any suggestions with other brands that might give me the same quality of a Bose and less expensive.

JBL is very close in sound and quality as Bose. It is also always a bit cheaper! My home theater is sick. Just wait till you see the prices on receivers. Mine was over 1500! Damn FH.
