You def DO NOT need to study for that test. Check the NYSTEC (or ny state website) they have sample questions

My best advice is to NOT STUDY! Those books are a waste of time. You'll do fine. Your best bet is to do with the previous poster said just look at the sample questions to get an understanding of what the test looks like. You'll be fine.

I agree with the above posters..dont waste your money on a book. The test is easy.

ITA. for the LAST don't study. My sister studied for months and failed miserably. When she finally didn't study for it, she passed with flying colors.

But yes, CST = different story.

i studied for all the certification exams n i just bought the books off amazon..for the essay make sure you choose a for or against a situation and give your opinion to support your response. My best friend stayed neutral and failed the text. Good luck!

I didn't study for any of the certification tests & passed easily. I just looked at sample questions beforehand like pp mentioned. Good luck!!

Honestly, do NOT spend money on a book for this test. It is the easiest joke of a test...save money for a CST review (which still is not that bad!!)
