If anyone knows anyone thats wants to do it just make sure they look into it my aunt was very overweight and she has lupus so her joints were killing her so she decided to do it ,so a yr ago she did her homework on it and last mnth had it done and since then her health has gone down hill she is so sick all the time and in and out of the hospital and ended up w/an ulcer just want everyone to be careful and share the info w/anyone deciding to do it

I'm sorry to here that my cousin did bypass surgery and within 3 months she became pregnant and she is happy and healthy with her 2 weeks old baby. I quess not everybody has that luck.

I'm sorry to hear your aunt isn't feeling well. My friend had it 2 1/2 years ago and is doing great.

I'm so sorry about your aunt. Lupus is a very painful disease and surgury has been known to cause major flares. I hope her doctors can get her health under control. My uncle had the surgury 3 years ago. They made him go for major testing first and he was lucky he was approved. The surgury basically saved his life.

I had it done. I didn't lose all my weight but enough! I also had a personal trainer.
People don't consider that those who get this done are probably going to die from obesity. You have to go through some hard times but it is usually worth it.
I have a friend that did it and was sucessful. The thing with GBP is that you can have the best doctor in the world do the surgery but you never know how your body will react to it until you have it done. She can't eat more than a certain amount (grams) of sugar bc then she goes into this wierd sweaty thing. It has a name I just can't remember.
I hope your Aunt bounces back and feels better.

Thank you everyone i hope she gets better also but for now im really worried b/c i just lost an aunt 2yrs ago (her sister) and she is really bad i wouldnt be able to live w/losing her so soon
