i'm trying to get a girls' trip together and i've never been to the wineries upstate...any recommendations?
I've been to the Brotherhood Winery. Google it. I think Metro North has a special going there with a bus going there directly. It's the oldest winery in the country. It's very old-fashioned, upstate type of feel...beautiful in the fall and in October they have Octoberfest with contests. If you don't mind going to Long Island, Wolffer Esate is nice, it's near the Hamptons.
my friend worked in whitecliff vineyards right outside of new paltz....we're gonna do my best friends bachelorette party there...and wine tasting is one of the things on my list...plus new paltz was our original college town so there is partying at night too!!! and beautiful scenery and lakes and there are other wineryies too
