haven't seen it yet...but i hear it's pretty freaky. basically people who lived in the dessert in nevada who grew up where the tested nuclear weapons are now like deformed radioactive people or something. they are all gross looking and crazy!

good luck!!

i get scared just from the commercials so I don't think I'd make it thru watching it in a dark theater! I woke up in the middle of the night last night with the TV on and that was the commerical that was on and I jumped up and changed the channel!!!

I seriously almost walked out, It made me cry, not because I was scared, but because I was upset. There is a very graphic rape scene, and I litterally broke down..It was very disturbing

I hated it but FI loved it, because he loves bad horror movies.

It's not even remotely scary (but keep in mind horror movies don't scare me anymore) but it's disgusting and again I'm not even the type that's bothered by blood or gore. But when you hurt an animal...forget it. I was so pissed after seeing it.

ug, no way. You couldn't pay me enough to sit through that. It looks horrible and disturbing and I probably wouldn't sleep for a week.

I'm definitely not one of those people who enjoys being scared or finds blood and gore and tragedy entertaining.

We had free movie passes so decided to see it tonight - I didn't realize Alexandre aja from High Tension directed it - we liked that movie - the camera work was really great - it was better plot-wise than I expected, far less gore than hostel or the recent crappy horror flicks as of late - a little hoaky and campy, and yes, some scenes I couldnt deal with - I am so tired of knowing when I see animals that they are going to die - i am glad Beast survived, and I was going to write hate mail if anything happened to that cute little baby...

We liked it overall - theres my review - maybe NY Times is looking for a critic?

I was clutching FH's arm saying Beast better not die.

High Tension was surprisingly good... except for that RIDICULOUS TWIST ending! TOTALLY didn't make sense for the rest of the movie.
