Werent real? I found my baby teeth in my mothers jewelery box and she told me the rest iwas about 9 yrs old and i was soooo upset

I found out from my sisters. My sisters and I wanted bean bags and my mean sister knew where they were so she sent me to get a blanket in the closet and I found them. I cried so much!

I think I was about 9 or 10 and I asked my dad if there was such a thing as santa claus and he said to me do you really want to know? and I said yes and he told me no there is not and there is no such thing as the easter bunny or the tooth fairy and now that you know this don't expect a lot.

I found an easter basket in my dad's closet. I specifically remember saying 'you betrayed me!' lmao-- and i cried my eyes out!

right now thanks a lot!!!!!!!!! ....i was 9 and i really only believed in santa at this point and i asked my dad 'dad tell me the honest truth is he really real???' and my dad puts it i broke his heart that day bc he always said unless i out and out ask to tell me the truth he wouldnt ever tell so he told me i was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo upset

I figured out Santa wasn't real when I was maybe 8.....my mom is from Finland.....and since a lot of people in Europe believe that Santa is from Finland (Lapland to be exact, one of the northern most parts of Europe, it's the North Pole!! lol)....so my mom wanted me to think that Santa was finnish...complete with the accent and everything.....so she used to have her friend Ritva from the Finlandia Foundation come over on Christmas Eve and pretend to drop off our presents. One year I saw her red hair sticking out of the white wig....and that's all it took for me to put it all together!!! After that Ritva would come over every year without dressing up!! Honestly she was probably relieved!!!

MY brother took me by my hand one day when I got home from school and said 'come here I want to show you something' and took me upstairs in the attic and showed me ALL of the XMAS gifts!! My mom said I was a mess that night that I wouldnt talk to anyone in my house for days for lying to me about Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc.. My brother was not nice.. he always ruined things for me

Same here! It was my older brother that ruined it for me!

What do you mean there is no tooth fairy? I was going to have a couple pulled to help pay for the wedding! Sh!t!!!!! Now what am I gonna do?

I'm not really sure how I figure out the Easter Bunny, but...

When I was in 3rd grade, I sat at a table with a girl who was didnt' celebrate Christmas, so she blurted out to me that Santa wasn't real. I have 3 older sisters and none of them told me or let it slip!!!! I was so upset.

Now the tooth fairy....one night when I put a tooth under my pillow I was awakened by my father checking to see whether or not the money and gum were under my pillow- he is very obsessive about checking things over and over- well he did it so much, that he woke me up!!! I pretended a few more times, until I finally told my parents that I knew that the tooth fairy didn't exist.

I have a similar story about the tooth fairy but my dad told me it was the TOOTH BROKER named Murray. Can you tell were a crazy Jewish family?? Anways I caught my dad in the act but I always kinda knew.
