NWR..how do I get the UV gel off?

NWR..how do I get the UV gel off?

I have a top coat of UV polish and I'm ready to take it off since it's chipping, I tried using nail polish remover this morning and it would not come off. Didn't even budge! lol What do I do??

You need to file off the layer of gel. If you use nail polish remover, you need to soak cotton balls in the remover, and then put it on top of each nail, wrapping it with aluminum foil (so that they stay in place). You have to leave it on for at least 15 minutes. You're probably better of going to a nail salon to get it removed. I've tried to do it myself, and I end up making a mess of my nails lol.

Acetone will take it off that's how I take mine off

I just went to the nail place and had them do it. It was $10 but worth it because they did a better job than I would've!

The best way to do it is to have the nail place take it off. Otherwise, soak it in 100% Acetone...but I feel like that always takes forever.

I just peel it off myself..it usually will come of in one piece! Im too lazy to go back to the salon

Haha I just tried peeling it off and I couldn't even get it all off that way. I think I'm gonna go to cvs on my break and get a bottle of acetone and soak them. And if that doesn't work then I guess I'm going to the nail salon!

My mom is a nail technician....soaking them will take a little bit but it will work. Make sure not to get that on anything! It will EAT THROUGH EVERYHTING!!!!
