I had 3 people trying ALL morning to get U2 tickets at madison square garden with no luck... all 5 shows sold out in minutes...

And the annoying part is I bet all these scalpers boguht tickets to sell on ebay and stuff. UGH

FH is a Cablevision employee and can get MSG tickets but he has to pay for them. Do we want to see U2 or do we want to pay wedding bills? Though I have to say that I saw U2 on the Joshua Tree Tour back in '87 and it was perhaps the best show I ever saw.

My best freind from HS and I have wanted to go since last time they were here and I was planning on asking her to be in my bridal party at the concert.
I have wedding bills too.. but I just have to see them!!!!

Honestly, all kidding aside, you should see them if you can. I just dont NEED to see them. If the tix were cheaper or free I'd go in a heartbeat. Just as long as Bono doesn't get too political. I just go to concerts for the music, not a lesson in humanity. I am not that deep.

Yea, I am DYING to go ... Ive even considered paying the ridiculous prices on ebay. Can your FH still getthe tickets? Maybe I could give you money for them??

I don't know. If they have already gone on sale, I venture to say that he has little if any access by now as they usually let employees know in advance. Thats how we got to see Barry Manilow and Prince (ALSO awesome shows)

I feel your pain, Jen. I tried for a long time to get tickets but no luck. I also complained to my FI about the scalpers. Ugh!

I just heard on Z100 they added more shows at MSG in the fall...those tickets go on sale next Monday morning at 9am. You can try again! Good luck!

Hmm I looked on ticket master and didnt see anything.
They did add two more shows since this morning and both are sold out.
So there are a total of 6 that are sold out at MSG, I doubt they will add any mor.e

i guess its too late for this now...buuut, my fh joined the fan club online for like 20 bucks or something so he got first shot at tickets before they went on sale.

I jpined too, but you had to have joined before jan 26th to get the deal and I didnt
