Okay so a woman that works at one of the Law Firms has decided to retire. She is a supervisor. I was a little hesitant about applying for it but I said what the heck...If I get it great, if not there will be other opportunities that come along. Well I went and met with the travel manager and then Bob...the 'big' guy of the company. Today, I was approched and they offered me the position!!!!!!!! YAY for me. It does involve a raise and I am actually maybe being greety....but I asked my boss to see if they can splurge and give me an extra $2000 so my salary would be a nice even number he siad he'll work on it for me. YAY Im so excited! Even if I dont get the extra money I asked for its still a raise and raises are good when you have a mortgage to pay and a wedding to save for!!!!
OMG!! NANCY!! THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!! I'm really happy for you! From your posts about work it would seem that you finally got the recognition you deserve!!!!
