NWR:Is it possible to feel any worse about myself?

NWR:Is it possible to feel any worse about myself?

So my FH and I are going on our first 'official' vacation together at the end of the month and I cant wait! Look out Mexico here we come. However, I went bathing suit shopping this past weekend and
Everything was either too small (too revealing) or too old ladyish. I recently lost a lot of weight and thought that bathingsuit shopping wasnt going to depress me but boy was I WRONG!!! I had to stop myself from crying and or throwing up in the dressing rooms!
Bathingsuits are just a cruel joke right?

Aww sweetheart you are you're own worst critic! Bathing suit shopping is a terrible thing...I never find ones that I feel comfortable in. Remember you are beautiful...you should be proud of your weight loss...don't focus ont he negatives...focus on the positives~!

Well put Lauren! I definitely agree! Plus your fh is going to be so happy to be going away with you and he'll think you look good in (or out) of anything!

you are a beautiful girl.. do not worry about it.... I have been up and down with weight all of my life.. and even at my absolute skinniest..... (120lbs) I still HATED THE WAY I LOOKED IN A BATHING SUIT......

A MAN must have invented them!!!!!!!!!

Also just think about what it would be like if MEN had to shove themselves in what we do... to go SWIMMING.. you will have a good laugh while you shop and think... DAMN I DO LOOK GOOD

my secret is those sheer sarong wrap around things... they cover the bad spots- I also have to say that the Victoria's secret bathing suits (not the models ) just seem to fit better... I do however HATE bathing suit shopping and think I might just skip that this year

i seriously feel better and sexier in my UNDERWEAR than bathing suits - i dont know why, but i can never find one that fits the way i would like it too....you arent alone....you probably looked great - we are our own worst critics -and thats the truth

Thanks ladies! You all made me feel a lot better. I guess bc I am finally back at the weight I was in college (the 120's) I expected this to be easier. NOT!!

You all put this into perspective and I appreciate that ALOT!!!

Im just going to go, enjoy my first vacation with FH, drink a lot and not worry about how not so festive I look in.........that thing.................
