FH and I need to get a new printer. The printer we have now is a canon pixma 6600d and it uses up a ridiculous amount of ink when it prints. I want to get a color printer that I'm going to use to print my invitations and everything else eventually.
Any recommendations?

I just read a thread on some other board about printers that accommodate 12 x 12 (and sometimes larger) paper. Epson, Canon, and HP all make one. One of them, I think the Epson, uses the tri-cartridges, so you only replace the red, or the blue, or the yellow, whichever you used.
I TOTALLY wish I'd had one when I was doing my invites. Or even now, just for fun.
In the meantime, maybe there's a setting on the computer itself that will let you define how much ink to use? I think there is, although I'm not terribly familiar with Canons.
