NWR....really frustrated with the job search AGAIN!

Kathleen, as a fellow teacher I feel your frustration. I went to school in CT and student taught there. WHen it was time for me to come back to LI i applied to 70 districts...not an exaggeration...and got ONE call and ONE interview (and I didn't even get the job). I ended up getting an offer from the school I student taught in and accepted it. I was at first sad to stay in CT, but it all worked out. My school is amazing, and my first year of teaching was one of the best years of my life. I can't wait to start my second in a few weeks. Even though it wasn't what I originally set out for, it turned out for the best, I know the same thing will happen to you. Just keep hoping, and something will come your way. Maybe expand your search parameters a litte...you never know what will fall into your lap
