I see ad's for this ALL the time in the pennysaver. Just wondering if anyone does it or knows of anyone that does it. Is it one of those things where you have to send in money first?

i've done it before.. did it for awhile actually. a few years ago.. good money but it can cost money too. i normally only did the ones for the restuarants. but that's cause i like to eat..

FH does it. You have to go the the restaurant and pay, then they reimburse you. There was one for a gym too where you got $20 to work out at a specific gym.

they canbe pretty beneficial.i LOVE the restaurant ones but i'm ntot comfortable with the reveal ones.. althogh i've done them i prefer to just get reimbursed. i also like the oil change ones cause who wants to spend their own oney on a n oil change? lol
i'm thinking bout going back into it but this time focusing on the car dealers and the banks.. the big money..

I have received emails to become a 'secret shopper' But, I thought it was just another p;hony ad. Sounds like a good idea if you can make some type of profit from it.

I actually inquired about this a couple of weeks ago.....They tell you how great it is and all this stuff about where you have to go and how much you can make....They ask for a credit card number because they charge you for shipping and handling of the packet which explains all about it.... They then proceeded to tell me that the first 30 days are free but then I will be charged $9.95 or something like that per month.....I heard that and said forget it....HTH!!!

There are legit laces you can do it. My dad actually did a restaurant one and he had to spend his own money but they said in the beginning that they reimburse you for like $50 if you send in the evaluation and the reciept and he said they sent him a check for $50 a week later. So I guess its legit! But you should never have to just send them money.

u shoudln't have to pay.. when i did it i did'nt pay a penny.. although it has changed a bit they now have mystery shopper certifiations.. lol. like u take an online training course of some sort of semina and then that makes u eligible for better jobs? i dunno..
i used to do the red lobster ones cause my dad loved red lobster.. i should go back into that. my daughter likes that restaurant too..

I do a lot of bowling shops since FH is an avid bowler. They reimburse you costs and pay you a little bit as well.
I have also seen a lot of Party City shops, which has been really helpful for wedding stuff. I'm hoping to get a few more in the next few weeks to help with some of the bosts.
For the people that mentoned the restaurants, what sites do you work with?
