I have had 3 removed, and plan on getting more removed b4 the wedding, FH is getting some removed also. We HATE them. My necklaces always catch on the ones on my neck. I know that sounds nasty.

OMG I have the same problem....I couldn't wear certain shirts because they were getting caught too![]()

I have a few. Because they don't interfere with anything I haven't bothered to have them removed.

I had on removed that grew on my face. Of all places I of course end up with one on my face. I also notice that I have two more on my neck and shoulders I am planing to get them removed in a month or so.
Is that the same as a Keloid? I want to get my keloid removed but I've been told insurance companies won't pay and the laser surgery can be expensive. It itches in summer and swells in the winter and I can't wear low-cut shirts because of it. I hate it.
Skin tags are external and could cause abrasions if not removed whereas a keyloid would not. I veture to say that a keyloid removal may be considered cosmetic and thus not covered under insurance.
i still dont understand how my skin tags arent considered medically necessary to remove since they rub against my bra etc and bleed bc of so much friction...but alas my insurance company still doesnt pay for them to be removed.... as of right now i have about 20 to remove... ughssss adn at 50 bucks a pop to remove... sigh... grr!!!
NO, it's not painful, and yes a dermatolgist does it. It should be no more than $25 bucks each one. I get them removed all the time...
Has anyone ever had a keloid removed? If it's under $200 to remove it then I'll foot the bill.
This is horrible to say, but I had one on my underarm and I used to nick it while shaving. One day I just got so ticked, I shaved it right off. Never grew back. But, that is the worst thing to do so don't follow my lead. But man, was that thing annoying!!!!
