i'm in the process of getting a coop....when we met with the seller it was stated it was approx 750 sq ft.....but we had an appraisal done and it became 615 living area sq ft......did i just lose out on 100 sq ft????
does anyone know what the difference b/w the two is?
TIA!!!

The area that isn't living space can include any closets and possibly the bathroom and kitchen

i just took a look at the schematics from the appraisal and it look like they took the whole place 615 sq ft....i think i'm upset that its not the approx 750 as advertised!

Well I am sure you saw the place, right? If the living space was big enough for you and you liked it then the numbers really shouldn't matter. If you haven't seen the place, which I doubt then that would be different.
